I would like to point out that my character is a Quarian.

(5) You manage to struggle free of the guards and sprint to a safe distance before tossing a knife at one! (5 + 1 = 6) The throwing knife zips through the air, slitting a guard's throat! It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

Look around for non-exploded alien grenades.

"Roger that command, are there any Targets of Opportunity or Secondary Objectives in the area while I wait for the dropship to land?"  I ask crossing the river to the other side and seeing Gordon working furiously on something.  At this point, I don't even care enough to ask what he's working on.

He can't really tell the difference.

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

"Fuck this shit!" Sling gun over my back and draw a chainsword, then charge into battle. (Hellz to the yes! I based this guy off War Hammer 40k space marines, so it was chainsword or powerfist...

Really? I thought he was based off of Halo's Spartan considering you have a MAC gun and shields.

It was sort of a collage. I took the MAC from Halo, but the armour and stuff is mostly WH 40k. I'm cool like that.

I should have brought a gun that shot death. Or a monomolecular blade. Or mooks that don't even have a fucking digestive system... Or cyborgs bent on... Or! Oh! Space zombies! Fuck, WH 40k makes no sense.

"Faceless space soldier" is also based on a cracked.com article about master chief.

Well that's it. My weekend is blown. Linked to TvTropes twice in one day, and now compelled to go dig through cracked.com.

Roll 18

Spoiler: Character Sheets (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Encountered Enemies (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Current Enemies (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Kills (click to show/hide)

-------------------------------------------------------------

---Players---

Sareesa-3-"Roger that command, are there any Targets of Opportunity or Secondary Objectives in the area while I wait for the dropship to land?"
"The island itself is a potential objective. We do not know of its whereabouts or its purpose. If you could investigate it that would be great. Of course, there are likely multiple entrances into the colony ship, so maybe you can find a way in while the others create a distraction."
"Roger that."

Sareesa walks past Gordon, who appears to be working on something, but she doesn't care enough to ask.

Gordon-2-Gordon works less furiously!

(+2 completion point)

Taric-4-"Nice try, but..."
Before finishing his sentence, Taric dives off to the side while slapping the gun out of the brute's hands (5). Then, after a swift mechanized kick to the chest (3), Taric slams his fist into the Brute's head, smashing the skull through the brain and bruising the brain (6)!

Xer'Gi Brute has been struck down.

"That was my kill," says a disappointed looking Thea standing next to the body.

Tarran-6-Looking around for more unexploded ordnance, Tarran sees a figure above a door that somewhat resembles an eight-sided star. immediately recognizing it, Tarran kicks the door open and stabs the one biped taking cover behind the door, then gasps at the entire stockpile of grenades and missiles in front of him.
"Oooooooooh boy..." says Tarran, his face slowly turning into a grin.

Zrk-3-"Eff this!"
Instinctively reaching for his chainsword, Zrk realizes that he had also brought the chainsword along with him, and quickly pulls it out and starting the satisfying buzz of the motor's operation.
He then rushes into battle, chainsword drawn, and slashes the Xer'Gi behemoth in the neck (5) and the severed part flies off in an arc (5)!
The next one has slightly thicker armor.
No problem...

The steel chainsword has lodged firmly in the wound!

Kir'Zhan-1-Attempting to attack another one, Kir'Zhan trips over a stone and lands face-first in front of the monster.

Rayn-6-Not noticing that the brute is dead, Saith dives down, grabs the gun by the barrel, then shatters it on a nearby wall.
