Invent-a-Crazy-Conspiracy-Theory
« on: January 02, 2011, 01:29:51 pm »

We've all heard them. Really nutty conspiracy theories that make us scratch our heads and go, "Wuh?!" However, there are never ENOUGH of them out there.

Therefore, we should invent more! Hence why I'm starting this thread, to invent conspiracy theories. You never know, we might latch onto conspiracy TRUTHS and then the FBI will come for us.

Remember, though, that the best conspiracy theories are the ones that take seemingly every day things and just make it up around them. Anyone can think, "HOLY SHIT MAGICAL FLYING LIGHTS IN THE SKY MEAN THE GOVERNMENT IS CONTROLLED BY ALIENS", but it takes a truly demented mind to go along the lines of...

Quote
The reason airport peanuts have such hard to open bags is because airlines have been exploring space for a few years now. (Ever wondered how the science shows manage to get pictures of our galaxy? It's because they're in cahoots with the airlines!) A couple've decades back, they came across a form of alien life that contains raw diamonds in them but have protective bags around them that make it nearly impossible to open. They've been using the peanuts as a method for finding out who is capable of opening these bags and then abducting them and taking them to this planet to open these bags. They're then using this to fund MORE SPACE TRAVEL.

Check out the evidence, it all adds up.

Now it's your turn, B12G, conspiracy me!

I'm not saying anything. this is obviously just a ploy to find out who's figured what out, so appropriate measures can be taken.

When the partyvan arrives, please take the appropriate party position and allow our federal party agents helpers to take you away to partyland.

There is non-stop party in partyland.

For the last hundred years, a horrible, covert group has been influencing the world in secret... with the power of music! They call these people by many names, but among themselves they are the Imusicati. All the greatest artists are members of its vast organization. Through the influence these stars gain through music, they attempt to guide the world as they see fit, keeping it in a constant state of conflict so that they may continue to write inspiring songs about how the violence must stop.

They have claimed many victims over the years. Their first kill registered in the FBI's archives is John Lennon, an independent artist who was subtly hinting at the Imusicati's existence in his songs. His greatest hit, "Imagine", was actually a blow directed at the organization, demanding that they stop the violence and create the utopia they know is within their grasp. It did not end well.

Young musician Michael Jackson was an up-and-coming star who began to build up influence, which he used behind the scenes to combat the Imusicati. Not appreciative of this, the organization had the man injected with an experimental drug that bleached his skin white, and caused severe brain damage, leading to embarrassing publicity fiascos that destroyed his reputation before it could undermine the Imusicati. Their efficiency is frightening.

But worst of all is their leader. He is a cold, heartless man that grows fat from the suffering of others. For over thirty years he has ruled the organization after a bloody climb to the top. His music is hypnotizing, and beloved by many, but not so great you would ever suspect him as being their true leader. My friends, the man is a monster, and his name is... Charlie Daniels.

That thread was too close to the truth. The Church of Scientology shut it down.

Everyone on the internet but you is one fat guy.

Unless you're the fat guy. In which you are a lonely, sad person with hundreds of forum accounts, talking and arguing amongst yourself because your life is void of love and wonder.

Also: conspiracy theories themselves are a ploy from the government to distract otherwise would-be truth seekers from what's really happening by convincing themselves they've figured it out.

David Cameron and Nick Clegg are in cahoots to return Britain to the feudal era, where only the rich can afford education. Once they've established this feudal dystopia, they'll take over the world.
