So what happened to SD?
Went inactive, PTMC steamrollered over, QQ from both sides.

Men of Science (my empire) is active. It's mostly just me, but I've got Tl8 (and some techs higher). If you're looking for an empire, come join and send me a mail (Sensei ingame).

Heh, anyone else notice the "player stats" link on the main site now? You can search for anyone in the game and get a ludicrous amount of random statistics. My personal favorite is the column that displays how many times you've arrived at each of your planets via Farm Machinery. wtf? xD

Somehow I've been wormholing on a dirtbike. 512 times in fact. Although, it mentions that I've done 512 wormholes on an "invalid" vehicle too though.

My time online seems much more accurate, 4 days. There's some other glitchy stats but it seems like a neat feature. It probably hasn't been keeping track of all of them since the start of this galaxy, so I'd imagine some stats won't be accurate until next galaxy.

I haven't been playing for awhile, but I checked the recent patch notes, and holy shit, complex medical procedures!

Time to go pick up the pieces of whatever's left of my empire. Assuming PTMC hasn't rolled over it ::).

EDIT: Woot, no cities have decayed!
EDIT2: I seem to be suffering severe limboing while wormholing.

Oh dear, I seem to have left several research processes running for nearly a month. Unfortunately, few of them were raw material producers.

Bumping, because I am under attack by the Toucan Empire. They're occupying all the cities on my ringworld, and holding a base on another city.

Do you possess the means to fight?

Caught me at a bad moment. Trying to build ships to respond, but partly because of the "Waiting to Spawn" bug, I am lacking the resources to.

What seems to be the problem you're experiencing with that? Lacking a space station, or too many ships in orbit already? In that case build a TL1 station or land the ships, respectively. Or are your pads around your spaceship factory full (Move the ships)? Or were they previously full and no longer are, and the status is stuck (Didn't that get fixed)? In that last case you could try deleting and replacing the factory, that always worked for me.

If you have sufficient money you could directly buy ships instead of building them, it takes care of lacking resources as long as you have at least one of each necessary resource of the right TL.

I am quite new to this game.
Can anyone suggest what empire to choose, I seem to be perplexed by the sheer amount of choices

Tymas is mine, big, well populated and active. If you don't like going the big empire route (look at stats, we're either 2nd or 3rd and were 1st for a long while), then there's a few Bay12 empires that are different sizes.

To get into mine or any that aren't open you need to either join an existing open empire first and then request membership in chat, or make a new empire and then request membership in chat.
