I just assigned myself as governor of my home city and now it classes me as both Emperor and Governor, but I only have the powers of a governor :/.

You should join my Empire Sensei.  I have Hemmingjay but he has hardly any time to play and the only other person in my empire besides my alts is my dad, who plays less than Hem.

Random ship dying seems like another issue entirely. I hear of "AYE, FLY INTO SUN" sometimes, but that hasn't happened to me yet. :P

It hasn't happened to me, either, except in one case which was probably my fault to begin with.

Not counting coming out of a wormhole into a sun, either. But that's not an issue with pilot AI, it's just bad luck.

It gets difficult to MASS produce ships when they start costing upwards of 20k metal, 5k of electronics, and nearly a thousand cryosinks. And I'm not particularly high-tech, either.

Apparently my (Tymas') capital system is confusing the server somehow, Haxus disabled everything and it was still using more resources than it should. Woooo!
