Wish I could play.  I tried posting the issue I was having (along with many others) and the answer I got was basically "Your graphics card says ATI. There's your problem.".  WTF?

Funny how my card can play basically any modern game, except this one.  If that's the case, I think the system requirements page be updated.

It's just that this game seems to have issues with some ATI drivers. Whenever the hell I first played it, my ATI Radeon 4800s HD card was causing a huge memory leak. It worked fine after updating the drivers.

You could try using alternate drivers.

But yeah, the game at the moment doesnt seem to really want to work on anything before the HD cards (with ATI drivers anyway)

Money scam before Haxus fixes it:

1. Make ship with lots of capacitors (1000+) (subsidised)
2. get officer on
3. make a looped order to "sell all cargo 100%" x 10 or so, and one "Buy hydrogen"
4. wait a while
5. make lots of money.

This works becase hydrogen is free for subsidised ships, and electricity sells for 1c a unit. The "sell all cargo" order also sells electricity in capacitors.

I'll have to try that as a way to power a colony, too. I guess they need a couple solar  panels so they have a city capacitor.

Well I've got a tiny city started on a system in the Yggdrasil sector if anyone wants to be my friend.  I currently am not capable of space travel or even building vehicles, but I can fly thanks to being a very weak race of duck billed bird people.  Look up Magnificopolis.

I mean I actually have colonies in that sector.

I suppose, I could dump a bunch of tech disk on you from orbit. Or I could give the tech to you in the form of a demonstration, such as "this is what high tech bombs look like."

lol, I just noticed after looking around my start island doesnt have any ore to make metal, so can somebody help me find some for "Cavern", we're a bunch of primative spiders, who cant jump without being tired, but can run across the island without stoping, all we got is rocks and crystals and gems radioactives and minerals and coal not even a trace of ore.

also Ioric Kittencuddler what is your civ called, i cant get it to work.
