Server still seems to be having issues. Other char has been in limbo for hours, and now my main char is lagging so badly he can't move.

-edit- heh, 30 seconds after I post this the server goes down.

They must be doing some major changes - or someone summoned heavy bugs.
Yesterday the server crashed twice and I gave up on playing..I don't know it's status now though, just turned on my pc.

Also if anyone wants in the empire, talk on the Recruitment chat..I think it's the easier way.

I know what I'm going to do. I'll make a ground-combat Ringworld. We'll have two empire capitals- on opposite sides- and we'll have a bunch of cities to capture. Since someone would have to find a moon in a space rocket and fly back, there wouldn't be any ships except ones that come to visit, it could be ground oriented. That said, adding spaceships might be fun too, if there's a way to keep players in the system.

Anyone know of a good ringworld to do this on? Actually, how common are those things, anyway?

These aren't server crashes, they're restarting the server to update it and hopefully remove all lag.
