Looks like a good game Downloading, and Will join worst empire ever.

worst.empire.ever does not let me join: This empire does not posses any cities, and a newbie emperor could not be found

Someone must have conquered it.

Ill have to put a warship into orbit on thursday to pound the hell out of any hostile development there, before taking it back.

Any tips to get into this? I've tried a couple time.. but the graphics... oh god, the graphics...

I know I shouldn't be one to talk - I love Dwarf Fortress - but poor graphics translate much better in 2D for me than in 3D. I can handle 'crappy' in 2D, but in 3D.. it irks me.

Only the trees are that bad, rest of the stuff is about what you'd expect for a game that focuses more on the game and engine than graphics, but they are working on improving the textures I think.

I think it would be super sweet if you got higher morale bonuses from higher tech foods.  That way, you would have to tech up your farms and bakeries and wineries.

Just noticed the messages here. No, nobody conquered it. The server must have been screwing up, Worst.Empire.Ever. is still alive and well.

Tried several times to log in with 2 characters in 2 sectors. Got in once but the game was very slow (as in the interface and fps was massively lagged), other than that im stuck with the LSD screen.

Hrm, maybe there should be a warning that the "dummy" empire's city is a moonbase, at which you'll suffocate if you leave its enclosure.  You were probably on that moonbase.
