Been a bit inactive lately. Every time I log in the game is lagging miserably, so I've been taking a bit of a break. Still logging in to monitor research and such, just not doing much else. The fact I have to restart my tradeship every day or two because it mysteriously dies isn't really helping to motivate me to play more
RedAlertFan: Few things.
1. Sorry to tell you this, but your oil isn't that good. We have numerous sources of much better oil.
2. You are a very, very long way from us. Like 10+ sectors away, with no known wormhole route to you. This means any ship heading for you would either need to spend like 16+ hours flying light speed (assuming they could get their ship to go directly to you, which would probably require a few course corrections along the way) to get there and another 16+ hours to get back, or spend a long time charting a wormhole course for a shorter trip back and forth. And for the AI to be able to make such a wormhole trip would require colonies every few sectors to act as targets for the "go to system by wormhole" order. Even if you had Q255 oil, it wouldn't be worth the time to trade for it.
3. The "Galactic Kingdom" is 1 person. I doubt he has much tech, unless he got it from somewhere else. Somehow the threat of him steamrolling anyone seems rather minimal. You can probably handle him if he wants to fight. Regardless, I personally wouldn't be up for a 16+ hour trip just to fight off a small no-tech one man empire unless he *really* deserved it. As in, shot my dog and burglarized my house deserved it. If you were being conquered and needed help you could probably get someone to berthaport over and help, but it isn't really something we would send warships for.
Also, apparently the Galactic kingdom is a 1 system empire a long way from you with no wormholes explored. Are you sure thats who is attacking you? Unless the galaxy map isn't updating...
