There are four people there, arguing.

"What the hell are we going to do?! Johnny just got vaporized!" A blond woman shouts.

"Kate, we are going to sit tight and wait." A very dark haired man says.

Stop going through doors without testing somehow if they are traps such as throwing a shoe in the door.

[Fniff]

Ignoring the people in the room, you go back to where you were and throw a shoe into the room. It hits the blonde in the head, and she falls over. She isn't moving.
