Love House, best Sherlok Homes remake in a long, long time.
That's the first time I ever heard someone define it that way, but it's pretty accurate.

Watson/Wilson. How could I have missed that.
Also the opium, I forgot about that. Most modern retellings conveniently leave that part out.

Most modern retellings put him in a silly hat saying the phrase "It's elementry, my dear watson!" as he solves the case with a kind heart.

He did not a single one of those three things. Granted, he did solve the case though!

Wasabi, you know you have the right movie if it has Jean Reno on the cover.
My Name is Kahn
How to Train Your Dragon, for a bizarre chance to see a Dreamworks movie that isn't pulled down by the usual Dreamworks bullshit.

Think of it like Sim City, except with rival mayors that seek to destroy your citizens by arming legions of homeless people and sending them to attack you.

Good lord, yes. I was afraid it was going to be some make-your-heart-bleed-tears documentary or guilt-inducing sob story or similar. The incredibly well-told, gorgeously stylized story that I watched was amazing. One of my top 10 movies, certainly.

Doctor Who.  I accidentally had caps-lock on for that, and considered leaving it all-caps for emphasis.

Burn Notice is a spy show that's actually not stuffy.

Battlestar Galactica, if you ever wanted a sci-fi series where shields don't exist and people use bullets instead of lasers.
