Sorry for forgetting to post what i want...
I'll take Miner/Mechanic, and maybe also broker or something moodable, like glassmaker/bowyer.
If you don't want me to have something like that, make me a mason. Never can have too many masons...

Also, do I have to download the mods, or do they come with the file?

Well, if the save file comes with the raws, it's ok.

Dear Urist: I, the overseer, appreciate your point of view about the danger that an unarmed goblin can represent at the other side of a fortification when you try to kill it with a ballista, but, as you know, you're not paid to think. And a mindless worker is a happy worker, so shut up and do your job.

@DwarfyDwarf: No, you don't have download the mods

@everyone: I'm going to start my turn tonight or tommorow. Gonna use my laptop because the computer I'm typing this from is being a little hiccupy when it comes to DF (Although, it did run low on RAM, and I find that when that happens, rebooting always usually helps.)

AngleWyrm and DwarfyDwarf are still digging out the main entry hall. I'm getting fidgety, Doren Damnnit! I want Metal to work with!

14th Granite, 51
Finally! Took them long enough!

12 Slate, 51
OOps! Forgot about mah journal! Well, not much has been happening, 'cept that I've got myself a nice little work area.

Hey! I'm sorry! I'll lock my dorf in a room with a forge and a smelter and couple chutes (One for dropping raw materials and food in, the other dropping finished products out.) to make up for it! (I've always wanted to try something like this, anyways.)

Are you sure you can do it? because I have tried to do it once and... well... I don't know how, but everyone died. I think it was because some magma went out the room (it was a magma forge) and it burned a peasant, and the peasant went to the alcohol stockpile near the meeting area, and, well, I think you can imagine what happened next.

I've been smelting limonite! I'm gonna make the iron into some -menacing iron spikes-. Those damn gobbos won't even know what hit 'em...

I LOVE MY JOB! I get to make pointy instruments of death! Unfortunately, a bunch of migrants show up. I don't like them. They're all like Hey! Look'it me! I'm a Legendary Milker! Bah! Useless dimwits...

Note To Self: I need to start being more regular about my journal entries... Doren is not pleased...

OMG! OMG! Some guy who came in the last migration wave was friggin' possesed! He was all weird, and he ran into the craftsdwarf workshop and made a bracelet out of shale.

Note to everyone:
Don't forget to post the number of dwarves (and what they do) after your turn. It will be useful.

I'm almost done my turn, and I have to ask the other six of the starting seven this: Do you want your dwarf to have a custom proffession, and if so what do you want it to be? I call mad scientist.

It isn't related to a woodcuter but... Can my dwarf's profession be: "The extremly slow and inefficent assasin of the spoon"?

The game doesn't like it. Seriously, it's too long. How does just plain "Assasin of the Spoon' sound?

Also, I'm going to try to upload the save to DFFD, and if that doesn't work, I'll email it to the player on the list. Accidentally went a bit into year two. Whoops... My bad.
