A fire imp has sprung from ambush!
An ambush, drive them out!

The game zooms over to the 1*many exploratory shaft to the magma, and there are no dwarves anywhere in sight.  No dogs, cats, mules, etc., either.  In fact, the spot where the fire imp has "sprung from ambush" is on a bit of shore along the magma river that none of my people could even get to.  I'm all like, huh?  Then I see it, a brown "t".  A fire imp came out of the magma and ambushed a troglodyte that was waiting to ambush dwarves.

The troglodyte won the fight, but he is still marooned on the bit of shoreline next to the magma river.  The poor guy is going to have to just stand there in miasma from the rotting fire imp corpse, because I'm sure not going to send miners over to dig him out.    :p

Obviously I have moved on and re-created the world since then, but I think that is the most amusing artifact so far, closely followed by the dwarf bone weapon rack the same dwarf made my LEGENDARY MASON into to store said fappy battle axe when she was not using it to cut down trees.

I've gotten down to 4 rejected as my lowest so far.

Of course, I generated levels back to back for a couple days on end to see that

I got zero. it had a vein at the true face of the mountation (The first completely solid line of rock, not the cheap crap, had a silver vein in it. it led to a 200 ore piece dig.

I go to generate a new world for the latest version, and the realm is called:
"Mon Udo, The Plane of Souls"

I now live in fear that I am going to send an adventurer into one of the human towns of Mon Udo, and encounter these guys:

I see the first message and I'm all like Uh-oh, because it is only the second summer and I don't have many workshops built yet.

I see the second message and go, huh, well that sure is handy.  But then why is he still blinking a pink exclamation point?

The third message follows almost instantly.  D'oh!
