Got the save, searching for a good embark site  :)

EDIT: Ok, took a while but I found a site and have embarked, founding the fortress of Mamgozsakrith. Now hopefully I can figure out all this new stuff without blowing up the world or something...

Sadly, I'm claiming defeat. This version is just too complex to learn in 3 days...The whole military thing has proven especially irritating...Blasted Kobolds...

I did manage to get some of my fortress built and get a single artifact made though so I'm providing some new additions to the world.

Here is the save (if I did this right)

Dragonblaze: Driving Elves crazy by clear-cutting the entire forest the moment we arrived and building the fort with the wood.
