Actually, you were incinerated immediately in the blast, leaving your poor son partner Robert to succumb to MC Control insanity.

Flashback time!

You are all standing in a line, and Phantom, accompanied by a robotic version of Mal Devios is asking each of you individually why you joined X-Com.
Naomh's answer: "I fought in the First Alien War and, being fit and healthy still (due to having died multiple times sine then), I signed up as soon as I could after I heard that they were attacking again. Man, you've aged really badly Phantom." *Pause* "Hey, you wanna go get a drink later, talk about old times?"

That has been already filled by Mr. Worms and Ghost. Max is the bad cop, and Tarran is the teams Butt Monkey.

I got some time this morning to do something in the mission, let's see...

UFO: The Two Sides is a pretty good patch for UFO:EU.

Cept we're playing the sequel, X-COM Terror From the Deep. (I think you posted in the wrong thread.)

Speaking of The Two Sides: http://openxcom.ninex.info/

Sounds like we're going to have a lot of new(possibly good) Xcom modifications/clones sometime soon in our lifetime. :)

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Speaking of X-Com, are there any good remakes or updates? I have tried UFO Extraterrestrials, which is fair. I've played the UFO After____ series which is okay. I remember seeing something about another team making such a game but cannot recall the title now.

And no I don't mean the indy dev games like UFO:AI or open xcom
Nope. Right thread.
