In all seriousness, though, medkits would probably be a pretty good investment. If for no other reason than that shrapnel in the eyes is painful, and should be removed immediately.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

Well, without you guys, here is my priority on research.

1. Armor
2. Medkits
3. Gauss
4. Psionics
5. Sub Construction
6. Sonic
7. Individual Aquanauts

The reason I don't research Sonic weapons first is because frankly, I always manage to run out of Sonic ammo some how, and Gauss Weapons are quite easy to make and are pretty cheap. And Aquanauts are always cheap. Plus Max, considering he's just recycled meat.

SHOWDOWN.

MAX'S PSYCHO VS DR. GAUSS
TEST YOUR MIGHT.

Or Sonic, if you wish.

GAUSS WINS!

Gerald: I joined XCOM to better understand what my life partner went through in 1999. (We met in the hospital.)
Phantom: Your friend panicked on the last mission! Perhaps if he protected Jeremy he could have made it, dammit!
You must have missed my entry post in part. Gerald is 'The Artist Formerly Known As The Poet''s life partner. Who is Jeremy?

Remember, at this point Phantom is an about 70 year old cynical old senile man, he wouldn't know or care if people knew or not.

Edit: To Gauss Naysayers, I have heard XComutil makes Gauss Rifles more true as a Laser Rifle counterpart, now having infinite ammo, hrm...
EDITEDIT: It also seems they are quite quick to make and research, double hrm...
EDITEDITEDIT: Whoah, sudden influx of UFO's, looks like they're searching for me.
EDITEDITEDITEDIT: THEY'RE ATTACKING BOMBAY!?

Oh. If you are using XCOMutil to change gauss weapons, then go ahead with them.

Else, just skip them.

Ditto. If you said yes to this option:

"Do you want to Remove Gauss Weapon Clips?"

Then go with Gauss.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Actually, I just chose to rough it out with Mags. Gauss Weapons are doing quite fine at this stage.

Update on Update: Gauss Weapons are performing as planned, and Plastic Aqua Armor has performed high above my expectations and saved Max numerous times.

Also: Gerald is to receive court martial in the next episode of: X-COM, TERROR FROM THE LAW.

Nearly shot Sebastian and shot a Sailor square in the chest. Plus he just sat there and panicked for 4 turns.

Well, I guess he deserves it then.

Also, I got 2 votes for Researching my Digestive System. What... Why... I don't...

Well, it is quite a wonder that you get sailors to leave you emergency lunch everywhere...
