player owned caravan

what about if you could equip a caravan of your dwarves by giving them goods and animals and such. you could send them to neighbour civilizations and they'd come back in couple of years and bring random goods with them such as foreign animals or something really random(maybe something valuable sometimes)

I think it'd be hell of a fun waiting to see what my little dwarves have bought drunk.
