Somewhat related, but I was playing this myself the other night. Is it normal for them to be wielding Disruptors in the first week, and Poppers showing up on the first day of the second week?

It's normal if you're doing extremely successfully in the first week. Alien equipment is distributed based on your score, so you could theoretically get Dimension Missiles and Teleporters in the first week if you go nuts raiding other people. I've shot down almost all UFOs coming in, which is why you guys haven't seen the Disruptors yet. Also, alien species are not tied to score - each ship is hardcoded to beam down an exact number of aliens.

I think it's possible to modify portraits in Apoc. I remeber one time having Elvis as one of my party members or something.

How do you do that? Where are the agent pictures stored?

Also, we have eight Marsec torso pieces, who wants them? Officers get first priority, as always. And we need a name for a new base to be purchased in the next update.

Just so you know, the Marsec armor is actually less protective than the Megapol Armor. Its only advantage is that it's lighter (good for burdened down people) and can fly(which is quite useful for storming slum blocks and the like).

Also, the new base is a warehouse on the east side of the city.

Found it, more or less. At least the editor for it.

APOC/UFODATA/PHOTO is where to look for the portraits at least. 256 color greyscale, I think, are the limits.

I advise using DOSBox for this.
