Computer is having a fit
« on: December 27, 2010, 01:02:16 am »

Yesterday I was playing video games like Silverfall and Grand-Ages: Rome; but now they are all having problems. Silverfall worked fine, but today when you try to start a game or load one it starts freezing for a few seconds, played for a few milliseconds, then freezes for a few seconds again. Although when I minimize it I can hear it working fine (the music froze too, but not when minimized).

Grand-Ages, well the tutorial works even though it's a little laggy when you go to the campaign it freezes for a few seconds whenever you try to move the camera. Seems to be fine when you hold still though.

Changing the graphic on these has no effect.

I can't figure out what happened. I played them fine, went to sleep, woke up, couldn't play them anymore.

Anyone have an idea to what's going on?

I also seem to lag while using the browser even when all my CPU isn't being used up... If that helps at all.

Yeah it spread to my browser and then the entire computer, restarted it and it's fine now... Weird. Anyone know what that was?

You probably hit a memory leak in one of the programs you were running
