RW: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MONK!?

FW: Shove HEN and Urist on the rat, climb on kitty. Remind George that it is a riding rat. You are a genetically modified battle rat. <3. TO THE ELVEN VILLAGE!

How would you describe me in that synopsis there?

Nice synopsis!

I guess that's all I have to say. What a sad little post this is.

How would you describe me in that synopsis there?

In abortive tries 2-4, I described your fantasy character as "alternating between committing and summoning atrocities, not always on purpose." I liked the line, but it wasn't quite right and I was trying so hard to keep the length down. So much good material had to be cut. :(

Nice synopsis!

Well thank you! ...actually, reading it again, I'm kind of surprised. It's better than I thought it was. I guess staying up until ridiculous hours of the morning actually paid off for once. (Except for that one all those embarrassing typos... fixed! really fixed now.)

So it turns out that dumping magma on skeletons is either a really bad idea or maybe like the best idea ever.

T'was a good synopsis. Thanks for writing it! Though I'll feel a little bad putting this RTD in the Hall of Legends when Elemental RTD, Staggered Magi RTD, and *cough* Roll to Strike The Earth aren't in there yet.

Opps, sorry Urist.
Meta: Try to heal John again
Fantasy: find a barrel or storage device and put the gunpowder in it, than put the Swordfish arm back on Urist.

Ghost pirate companion? Why not?!

**********~
Turn 54
**********~

META TURN:

Next stop: 3rd floor.

Goals
Find the keycard stations.

Current Soundtrack
Elevator Room

Actions
Meta: Repossess body
(...) Stomping over to your physical body, you yank Paulie's spirit out and jump back in! You stand up and brush yourself off. That was weird.

That ghost pirate is still standing in the corner.
Monk: "You're still here?"
Ghost Pirate: "By jove, you're right. I suppose I really am a delusion of yours. Mind if I tag along?"
Our ghostly friend doesn't seem to have a name yet.
Meta: When everyone gets in the elevator, press the button for deck 3.
(...) You poise yourself for a button push and wait for the others.
RW: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MONK!?
(...)
Derek: "AAAAAAGGGGGHHHH"
Meta: Try to heal John again
(...) You get out your first aid kit and quickly bandage up John's arm. Looks good as new! Except that it's, y'know, gone. Other than that, looks great.
Meta: TAKE IT OFF. NOW. And  try to heal myself.
(...) You take off the fancy shirt and toss it down the hall!

FW: Ask around as to what the hell is going on because I got lost on the plot a few pages ago.
I doubt the bloodthirsty cannibalistic Elf natives will oblige. Unless that command is passing through two layers of fourth wall, of course.

Edgar, the mayor and that tiger were all drugged and taken back to the Elven forest retreat. Frelock befriended enslaved an Elf and made him show the way to the forest retreat, then caused a riot between some Elven warriors and the gate guards and ascended to Edgar's cell. He then smooth-talked some information out of the Elf guard while Edgar jumped out of the window. Derm tamed a giant rat, piled HEN and Urist on top of it, and rode in a pack to the forest retreat. The three have just arrived there to find the commotion at the gate, and now the entire retreat has been alerted to your presence. You must find the mayor (who has been revealed to be in the central tree) and rescue him before the Elves attempt to sacrifice him, unaware that he is immortal and will soon return to full strength if you don't throw him into the volcano.

It's all so simple you wonder why you even bothered to ask.

Meta: Get everybody to the elevator, then push the deck 3 button

Fantasy: Go get the mayor, staring down any elves that try to stop me

Seriously, this stare-down power has become almost geas-like, due to a series of extremely fortunate rolls.
