Nothing 'cause I'm Jewish.  Got my usual Chanukkah gift of $400 though... which promptly went into rent, bills, grocery shopping, and paying student loans.

Trust me, I ain't knocking it.  Leaves me with some money to get someone I want.  It's what my family does, we just give each other money to get what we like rather then bother with returning anything.  :P

My family doesn't have much money so most of the stuff I got was made by my Mom. And for some of the stuff my Dad.

A delightful vest.

A fleece blanket.

a book about the Knights Templars.

A United States Marine guidebook found in a used bookstore. Which is quite applicable.

And I have fairly wealthy grand parents so I'm gonna be back*.

*Maybe.

I got... I got... I got...

More business shirts and neckties!  Yeah!  This is the only thing in life I have ever truly wanted!

And I've watched A Christmas Story like eight times over the past day.  I hate/desire BB guns now.

You'll shoot your eye out kid!

My 12 year old cousin got a BB gun this year, I am taking my copy of A Christmas Story down for him on Monday.

Good movie? Or best movie?

I got a rock....

But in all seriousness, I got a sweet new android smartphone for my birfday in 2 days and a smug sense of satisfaction in being jewish and knowing what kind of monstrocity my kind spawned when we let Jesus preach. :P

I have disastrous dandruff, but I've been using this stuff for years without any improvement, so it's pretty much worthless.

Have you tried Neutrogena T-Gel? The one with the coal tar in it? I use it irregularly and it seems to help. Although I wouldn't really call my dandruff disastrous....

Bit late for that man. It started on December 1. Chanukkah Harry has come and gone by now.

I've already posted in this thread about what I got, which I thought was merely the wonder of excellent friendship never tasted before, but it would turn out that I've surprisingly received real, tangible items come Christmas morn!

I got a mess of candies, including a bag of skittles, some tinned treats, and these weird chocolates tightly bound in a plastic container wrapped in decorative sleeves with sailboats and other maritime memorabilia. I also received two DVD movies: Ike (some weird movie about a soldier or something) and Mr. Woodcock, a comedy that, unknown to my Christmas givers, was a movie a hated quite passionately. I accepted it with a smile nonetheless as I was passed my largest and most unexpected gift of all: a tiny DVD player!

I'm simply astounded at how unbelievable these people, whom I've known for only a short time, have warmed to me and have insisted on being so generous and kind. My harsh life up to this point has not known these qualities in anyone except my dear Aunt. I have no idea how to repay them.
