Woo....nice one. I was kinda underwhelmed with the initial release of SOTS, but once I tried it with all the add-on packs, I was hooked. Although the AI upgrade as of Murder of Crows began kicking my ass with regularity.

I'm eagerly looking forward to what they can do with SOTS II.

I got Basic Welsh: a Grammar and Workbook(which looks to be OK- no pronunciation guide, little everyday vocab, and the explanation of how to conjugate prepositions leaves something to be desired, Learn Russian the Fast and Easy Way (from Barrons, one of those illustrated things, but it looks solid on grammar as well as vocab), One to Nine: the Inner Life of Numbers, the Hunger Games trilogy boxed set (from distant relatives), a B&N gift card, a music shop gift card, and probably a record player. I also purcharsed with my own money The Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel as well as Farewell to the First Golden Era by the Mamas and the Papas on vinyl in anticipation of said player.

Chose to not accept gifts this year. I'm not fond of Christmas in the first place, but the idea of looking forwards to 'getting' something and being disappointed if it's not 'good' is a bit ridiculous in my eyes. I gave my family stuff to conform to the holiday but that's about it.

I got a DVD (Kick Ass), a small box of chocolates, a Darth Vader dressing gown and 2 gift cards. Going to go into Nottingham soon and use those gift cards.

Dressing gown is awesome, replaces the old one which was getting a bit short.


Wish the games I ordered over a week ago would turn up already. Delivery was meant to be 2 days, damnit! Even for Christmas time, this is ridiculous.
