Can i run it?
« on: December 23, 2010, 01:32:43 pm »

I plan to purchase a new Dell Inspirion 580 For my main christmass present. I also wish to purchase a copy of Armed Assault 2 : Operation Arrow head. If anyone can clarify will i be able to run it?

Specs :
Intel® Core™ i3 Processor 550 (3.20GHz, 4MB)
ATI Radeon™ HD 5450 1GB DDR3 graphics
4096MB Dual Channel DDR3 [4x1024] Memory

I know its off topic but you guys really help me with my problems so I thought I might get some help with this.

Should be moved to 'other games'. Also, the website of the game usually has the minimum specs. Just a moment...

Yes i know the minimum requirements it just seems that it dose require a powerful machine and im not too good with all that stuff so i need a helping hand. What ever the specs are its surely better than this Compaq parsario its at least 4 years old.

I think you should be able to run it, but i'm not sure.
Your RAM should be good, what with FOUR GIGS of it.
Video card will most likely work...
I have no idea about the processor, however.
I would have to look up some things before a definite yes or no could be given, but I guess it should run.

i3 processors aren't very good. I don't know the price difference, but you should probably see if you can invest in an i5. Another tip, buy parts and build it yourself. Cutting out the middleman will save you more money than you'd think!

^^This. Especially the part about buying parts and putting it together. $300 for a VERY powerful computer, if you do this.
