Sounds like a good idea for hiking, but carrying food while running as fast as humanly possible doesn't sound like it would work very well. I do love me some trail mix, though.

3750 calories?  Regular male 2500 calorie intake + 6-7 beers.  Problem solved.
Err... I'm 16 and I dislike alcohol besides. Thanks for the input, though.

Porridge made with cream is an extremely calorie-dense, filling and energising food.  Delicious enhanced with a variety of fruits.  Nuts, lentils and beans/pulses are also excellent.  Start adding nuts to stir frys, make nut-butter based sauces for foods.  Pasta, lots of pasta.  Lasagna is good, pasta bakes are easy and excellent.  Here's some calorie dense recipes I make from time to time.

You need complex sugar anyway : eating a lot of fats, especially saturated fat won't help a lot because processing it will be tiresome and harmful for your organism.
Pasta was the traditional way, bread is good too, potatoes (steamed, cooked in water, not fries) would be fine too.
As for eating more : maybe one more meal per day?

Regarding the energy drinks, have you tried mixing them with other liquids?

I'm particularly partial to 50% Relentless and 50% pure orange juice (not from concentrate.)  It softens the otherwise sickly sweet flavor and decreases the fizz.  1 litre of 50/50 contains around 445 calories, which is a nice little bump :)

Actually, I wouldn't be burning fat; I'd be burning muscle. I can't seem to keep enough fat on me.

Regarding the energy drinks
I'd love to try sometime, but energy drinks make me sick. However, I have recently starting drinking smoothies after I go running.

It isn't a positive... While yeah he can burn good fat quite fast. He is still hurt by bad fat. meaning it is easy for him to be skinny and get deadly heart attacks.
Now you've got me worried, bro. What's the difference between the two types? Would this 'bad fat' of which you speak build up even with extreme cardiovascular health? My resting heart rate is somewhere around 38-40 beats per minute, to give you an idea.

This COULD be bad

However most likely it is the exact opposite. Healthy hearts beat slower then unhealthy hearts because they are stronger (with obvious exceptions)

Given you exercise I assume you just got an athletes heart.

Anyhow the badfat I believe is Transfat. It just goes straight to your arteries and is tough for your body to burn off.

As long as your not doing what x2 would have loved to do, eat several pizzas a day, your fine.

Trans fat is pretty easily avoidable, though; the only particularly harmful sources of that are partially hydrogenated oils, so not even anything natural. Of course, you still want to watch saturated fats as well.

Yup, I'm really weird like that. I have an unnaturally slow heart rate and breathing rate because I run all the time and I play the baritone horn for an hour or so every day. It really messes with people when I hold my breath for a seemingly impossible amount of time.

Hot pockets. You could eat a box every day.
Don't do it. The only running you'll be doing is towards a restroom.

If it hasn't already been said, I'd recommend whole grain foods. High calorie, good fiber, and won't bog you down. Also, eat your fruits and veggies along with whatever else you're carbing up on.

If you can stomach it, I'd suggest lard. Lard combined with peanuts / peanut butter and a sprinkling of cocoa powder is what most arctic explorers eat due to the ridiculously large calorie / protein intake you get off it and the peanuts / peanut butter. It's also technically better for you, per kg, than butter is. (Far fewer saturated fats and about 4x more polyunsaturated than butter. It's got quite a bit more monounsaturated, too.)
