Make a two z-level high (or more) workshop area with glass walls showing the workshops to the outside peoples. In other words, make a mall.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

And Decorated with demon skeletons! (Assuming you didn't just get boneless ones, though...)

I don't have any sand on my embark... Plus I lack wood to make glass.
I said I don't want to have fun in that way... But lets say I had set the different demon count to 0. Would that mean there are no demons at all?
Well it's going rather well if you count out that there is an ambush every season. 2 ambushes in spring and 1 in autumn. They come in the end of the season too so I lose a lot of progress when taking a previous save. Luckily the wall will protect me once done. How to get stuff from the goblins again? I want to trade their stuff as the stuff from the dead migrants is starting to end.
