Killing the goblin would hinder any future plans we might have to make peace with the goblins, so it's not exactly optimal.

We aren't the Elves of Amanereli, we don't exactly need to make peace with everyone in existence.

Besides dont we want their precious goblinite?

We don't need to make peace with everyone, but we can't afford to fight the whole world. We know very little about the world around us right now outside the contents of the valley and the existence of a town beyond that. As for the town itself, we don't know who or what it contains. For all we know, it could be a town full of goblins who would be rightly pissed if we killed one of them. Now, so far we've been mostly invisible, but now it seems someone can see us, and I want to make sure we look presentable.

Or we could just outright dominate them with rock and ice.

Spoiler: Old Action (click to show/hide)

Argh. Everyone are shouting at each other about whether we keep the soon-to-be intruders alive or not. I'd rather kill them outright than let them live at all. But I think Zrallins words are sound. I would not want to make an enemy of someone I don't know.

Selande will stealthily sneak out without getting seen by any of the goblins or dwarf. If possible divert their attention with a small rock thrown away from the tracks. If it looks like they get too close to the fort anyway, impair their movements just enough to keep them from running away. Interrogate them.
If they don't get to the fort Selande will keep an eye on them until they are gone for sure. She will then patrol the area while in low profile.

The available choices seem to be either A) capture them, use them for something, and then feed them to the grumpy old dawnelf, B) make peace with them even though they're probably hostile, or C) who cares, just retrieve the goblinite.

Okay, you can kill the goblins, but we need the dwarf alive for questioning.

Rocks fall everyone is knocked out.

I think I get the reference. Next time you fail a magically overloaded roll expect to find yourself totally alone fighting a gazebo. :p

On a more serious note I have updated the character sheets and game information. I have once again procrastinated movivng the character sheets. I will most likely wait until I have the drawing from the amazing rarborman to put in their place in the OP, along with a link to wherever I move them.

It looks like the plan is to surround the hunting party and make them surrender peacefully. Should combat become unavoidable attempt to keep one of the enemy alive for questioning, preferably the dwarf. If you want your character to participate in this say 'I'. I will most likely wait to roll until we hear from our berzerker or chief diplomat, as they have a rather large stake in the situation. If I don't here from Dwarmin and/or Twi by the time I wake up I will PM them. I will wait on them until Wednesday night.

Edit: Feel free to include a list of information you want to get from whatever captives you pick up. Add as many questions as you want and feel free to volunteer to interrogate the poor bastards. Assuming you succeed in catching anybody of course...

I would start work on that weirdsound but nobody has even bothers to accept their pallets or regect them...so I'm stuck with a drawing of my own character waiting for addition of the others.

Also "I" will participate in that.

Eh. if they take too long there is always beauty in grayscale :p. I have most likely bought another couple of updates worth of additions to the 'Big honking list of items' by deleting the character creation information on the first post. I've noted of course that it is always available by request.

Your guide to the pallet was weird, so I haven't bothered doing anything about it.

you can always do quote links to additional items...like make a secondary list and put an empty quote to it... since quote links bring you to the post without having to fill it with the actual quote.

You could even make an ooc and random list thread and have quote links to that in the OP, instead.

It's all about learning how things work for forum game lists.

Also ochita yours is a special case and I picked out three colors for consideration, for your clothes I desided that it should be a combination of the two upper colors for the main fabric of the garments and embroidery (most likely blue as the base material and green for leaves and such) and the lower for the fabric of the palms of your gloves and maybe the hem of your robe and the veil, but I havent work it all out yet.  You didnt give out what your undergarments are made of but it shouldnt matter but I do need you to pick a neon.

When a clothier desides to draw clothes it turns out interesting.

I would be more then happy to go over what colors are what and even what the whole thing will look like, but I didnt want to clutter the thread.
