The Sims : Medieval could be improved with a fully free play option, but as it happens it's not too bad.

Considering how much I paid for it, I am reasonably happy with how it has been so far.

Basically my feelings towards the game as well. My girlfriend and I are entertained, and I feel it was worth the money I paid.

I find it good for the money, but it does have its annoying moments..
Such as people keep trespassing into bedrooms, bathing in the royal bathtub, (and among my favorites) the monarch and Jacoban priest being sent to the stocks?? What madness is this??
Ah well, I just hope modders will eventually even out these annoyances.

you say that like it was an inexpensive game, but it is full price, $49.99 anywhere I look. Granted maybe it's worth that, but did you find it for cheaper?

You guys need to check Amazon more frequently. They often beat Steam on newer titles, and they have ninja-specials that look a lot like Steam sales in terms of savings.

Sims Medieval is $43 at Amazon (direct download, too) right now. $44 if you want a box.

Naturally there are cheaper places to get it, like the various realms of the great nautical acquisition kingdoms.

I got given it for nothing, because I ordered the pre-order version and got the standard version.

I then complained on the website and got given the pre-order code.
