I think I've met the future of mankind

I guess he might need an infiltration specialist to take care of opening *really* hard locks and driving cars for him, but even then only when you really need a 20 in a stat for it, which is basically never. That's the best overall stat distribution I've ever seen in LCS.

(an edit for those without experience of mutants: Usually it's more likely they'll have stats more similar to the next guy I was recruiting:

And if you're like me, you accidentally pressed "C" instead of "D"...

[C dismisses, D recruits.  But in previous versions, C recruited, and D asked for money.  Hence my always messing it up.]

Never had a problem with that, I modded out asking for money locally long before Fox took it out in svn. One of the better changes I've seen made to a game in terms of effort vs. gameplay improvement ratio, by the way.

I'm pretty sure you can't actually get your security skill beyond about 8, possibly maxing out at 10. The hardest lock in the game is (I think) the CEO's safe, and you'll be picking that every time long before you get to 20 skill. I think driving similarly caps out, and in any case you'd probably be unable to notice a difference between 18 and 20 driving.

Actually, I always liked getting something from potential recruits that I didn't want for my squad.  Although in the latest version, getting anyone is so difficult, one is far less chosey.

As to driving, one major factor in actual ability to escape pursuit is wound status, which high health reduces or eliminates.  When you see a liberal "shrug off" getting shot, stabbed, or syringed, that is due to health.  So, Mr. Superman is gonna be unstoppable in car chases.

Just make sure he is in the best ride possible.  Vehicle type is also a major factor.

The RNG smiled upon William Rota and said unto him, "You are branded for your differences, but they are envious of the boon which I've given you."

Seriously. When I see mutants with high stats, they tend to overkill a few stats rather than bulk them equally. Kurt Ross / Pariah, for example, would have been better off with 10 Heart and 7 Strength as opposed to 15 Heart and 2 Strength. But, hey, them's the breaks for a breed of humans which normally end up like Julie.
