Ask the hallway how to find your lost memories and why you hid them from yourself.

"The hiding was not intentional on your part, but your actions hid them from your mind."
You follow the hallway in one direction as you interrogate it.
"So by following you, I will discover my lost memories?"
"There are many ways to retrieve them, following me being one of them, yes."
"What are the other ways?"
"You must discover that yourself."

You follow the hallway in silence for a while, and soon you start to see things on the edges of your vision. Pictures, feelings, words, half-memories, all obscured by a fog that you can't quite dispel. One of the most prominent being a name you can't quite make out. It keeps appearing, only hanging in your vision for a fraction of a second. When you turn to look, it's gone. The farther down the hall you walk, the more memories appear in your vision.

Bring the corridor to an end in front of you. If anything this end should be a wall blocking you from your memories, or a wall of memories.

Could I ever find a signature as catchy as that?

You start running as fast as your legs will carry you, then decide to fly down the corridor to achieve more speed! The memories now form an almost tangible, yet unreachable, cloud in the corners of your eyes. Wait, you're the one who is dreaming. Why the hell are you listening to this hallway?

"Hallway, cease your taunting. Show me the end of this path, I grow tired of needless suspense."
"As you so desire..." Somehow, the hallway managed to sound sarcastic.

In front of you appears a wall of shimmering colors. Its surface undulates slightly, as if there are things on the other side trying to push through. You reach out to it, but are suddenly filled with a sense of absolute dread. Your entire body reels at the thought of even grazing the surface of the shimmering barrier. Never in your life have you felt such insurmountable fear, as if by so much as touching the peak of one ripple were enough to unleash the deepest horrors of Hell upon you. Every neuron begs for you to run away, every hair standing almost straight up, every muscle tensed and ready to send you sprinting faster than any human has ever gone before.

You take a few steps back, to gain momentum when you run and to regain your strength. You take a few deep breaths to relax your mind. You prepare yourself to sprint toward the wall, despite every instinct telling you not to. You gain inertia and at the last second Leap toward the horrifying colors! THUMP! The wall is now five feet farther away than it was before.

"Hallway?" You say quietly, menacingly.
"Yes?" It replies sarcastically.
"Stop existing,"

And it did.

You get up and look around. You are now standing on a featureless plain, surrounded by a gray, uninteresting horizon and sky. This appears to be sandbox mode, anything you think will become reality in this space. In fact, the moment you realized this, a sandbox appeared a few feet away.

You attempt to summon the memories you lost, but you don't know what, exactly, you lost, so it's nearly impossible. Deciding to be more creative about it, you summon all of your memories into a computer database and set up a station to view them.
