So...

Carefully pry what you can see out of the mine with minimal vibration while floating on hoverboards (barely any Materials gained, but safe)
Restart Mining, get Material. (Steady Material flow again, but cause the burrowers to start appearing)
Ignore Mine. (Explain in post, please)

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Blasting off, you don't do anything unusual.
The pirates, however, launch the CRITCOUCH at you.

(40x2!)
(Escape Pod Saves: Furtaka-5/35 Gustave-35/40! Harlon-27/6)

You three see the CRITCOUCH coming fast, and decide to try to escape, there'll be a another ship coming eventually After taping a rock to the red triangular button, you flee to the pods. Furtaka's pod shortcicuits, and ends up just drifing away, while the other two launch successfully, Harlon's goes as planned, but it might not be enough. Gustave's was overprimed, however, and goes twice as fast away from the ship.

Unfortunately, though, the pirates pirated your luck! the CRITCOUCH hits the ship for a perfect Critical hit, obliterating the ship, missiles, and Harlon's pod! The shockwave from the blast knocks Furtaka pod's engine's back into line and blasts him in a random direction. Who knows where he'll end up?
it also damages the COMMANDEERED PIRATE SHIP heavily, though the SpecOps men manage to just barely stabilize it.

Gustave, even though blacked out from the impact of hitting the planet so fast in an escape pod, made it. He's a bit far from the dome, but still within sight of it.

Alive:
Griph
Nodachi
Gustave

Lost In Space:
Furtaka

Dead Non-existant:
Harlon

(Who had an application that I forgot to list? I'm pretty sure I forgot to update the waiting list. Don't need to repost it, just tell me the names)
Furtaka, you're technically dead, but until your pod dies feel free to try to save yourself. Its possible but not likely you'll make it back. The pod has about 3 days (6 actions) left, and 4 days of fuel. Keeping Life support working does not take an action.

You have no spacesuit, but the pod has AMMO air, so as long as you aren't shot, you're fine. until you need water/food, of course. Pod controls are a floating orb, straight down fires every thing at the top, forward and to the left a bit fires some of the back and some of the port thrusters. Space Physics (inertia and so on) apply like normal, so think before you move. You're currently floating away from the explosion, slightly towards the station but not much.

AMMO air?
You have unlimited air.

Relative to planet: upwards, away, and slightly to port.
