So...

Carefully pry what you can see out of the mine with minimal vibration while floating on hoverboards (barely any Materials gained, but safe)
Restart Mining, get Material. (Steady Material flow again, but cause the burrowers to start appearing)
Ignore Mine. (Explain in post, please)

I vote against continuing. I want the suit, and getting killed just trying to open the mine isn't worth it.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

3 to 1? good enough.

Griph brings the flamethrower down, sticks the flaming end through the hole, and turns it on. the entire other side of the rock is set aflame! the scheeches echoing through the flamethrower are drowned out by what seems to be goo-encased rock either melting or burning. But at least one monster survived, and it pounds the wall down in one shot, sending the now damaged and deactivated flamethrower smashing into a miner, who explodes into gore!

You five are in the Dimly-Lit Minecart Tunnel. there is a RAGING, FLAMING, HEAVILY ARMORED BEAST OF DOOM standing in the remains of the caved-in wall, charging at you!

Defense:
-1 low visibility
-1/+1 close quarters fight
-1 Heavily Armored monster

Monster:
+2 RAGE bonus
+1 Heavy Armor
+1 Flaming bonus to attacks, -1 to defense

What now? (this is a Large class, not a HUEG, but the cramped space will let it get multi-hits if ya'll don't spread out!)

Can I go back to the dome like an intelligent person would since I voted against doing this?

Yes.
You'll be leaving only 4 people +3 panicked miners to fight the thing, but you can.
You'll be called a coward until the next wave of monsters, though.

Fall back, deploy TRAPS! Oh wait, we don't have any.
Fall back, use railguns to pierce its armor.

The railguns get slight penalty against Heavy Armor.
The Plasma turret would be better choice.
Also, you can use the guns as melee weapons, but expect damaged guns and not-very-effective attacks.

Plasma turrets, then.
Auto weapons, then melee once the thing's armor is sufficiently pierced.

Try to chop him into tiny pieces (and fail probably).

Griph dashes out of the mine, not wanting to die.
George, Twil, Harlon, and Nodachi remain. Nodachi reverses his grip and is now Tesla Katara-wielding. George detaches the plasma component and assembles a Plasma Turret out of the assorted shrapnel and rocks nearby. Twil backs up, while Harlon steps up.
All except Twil: -1 total mod, Twil has -2 due to having -1 for close quarters instead of +1.

Plasma Turret Roll: 1
George Roll: 20
Twil Roll: 4
Harlon Roll: 31
Nodachi Roll: 11

The beast sees the glowing Plasma turret and crushes it into shrapnel! It then sees Twil's mini targeting laser and charges after him! George gets a solid but not particularly penetrating shot on it, the charge just dissipates into the armor. Nodachi has far less success, not even getting a decent hit in, just getting knocked aside after scratching it. Harlon, though actually managing to pierce the armor with his fist, also almost gets his fist burnt off by the fact that its ON FIRE. Punching was not a very good idea here. But the beast ignores all the attacks, grabs Twil's gun, and smashes him into the wall, making Twil explode into gore and caving-in the rock on top of whats left of him. It then rips its fist out of the rubble, twisted and useless rifle in hand, and roars!
Twil, Sniper, has been struck down after colliding with an obstacle.

Tunnel Integrity check (1d20):5
The tunnel collapses on top of the beast! Unfourtunately, that leaves George and Nodachi stuck on the wrong side of the tunnel with no ranged support aside from Nodachi's Railgun Katara!

Just got a chance to drop in. Does being stuck on the wrong side of the tunnel mean being both separate from the outside and the dome, or the inner workings of the mine and the dome (Imagining this as a T shaped junction with the intersection blocked).

I'd imagine the dome as being part of the outside. In all seriousness, you're probably just being stopped from leaving by a big wall.
On a side note, I find it kind of funny that the miners just vanished from existence. Did I take them with me, did they get trapped too, or did the DT just sort of use them as snacks?
