So...

Carefully pry what you can see out of the mine with minimal vibration while floating on hoverboards (barely any Materials gained, but safe)
Restart Mining, get Material. (Steady Material flow again, but cause the burrowers to start appearing)
Ignore Mine. (Explain in post, please)

Local farmers market. I have a deal where if I get a goat every wednesday, he wouldn't ask questions about where it goes.

Yep. We even tried to get a sacrificial dagger, but eBay lies. Our next try is coming in the mail next tuesday. So far we've been just using a butchers knife.

Damn.
Also, MATHS dictate that the average of 1 to 20 is in fact 11.5 ish.
So yeah... *facepalm*

Well, I probably messed up the maths. >_>
According to my recent guess, 9.5 is probably the average.

If what we have been getting recently is any example of random.org, then anything would be better

True, true.
EDIT: The correct answer is 10.5. So d20s are a little favored towards higher numbers after all.

WEEK 2, DAY 3

An IMMENSE SWARM of TINY SCOUTS charges at the gates! there are 40 per gate! (using 2 d20s to keep the same scale as multi-roll)
Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)

Griph Stands at the Southern Gate and hopes he doesn't die. How is he supposed to kill 40
Combined Roll (includes below bonuses/minuses): 25
+2 electro-trench bonus
-1 for being totally outnumbered

Griph grabs the flamethrower and starts it up. But goddamn is that thing hot! he can barely hold it long enough to fry half of the 40. 10 fall in the electro-trench, and the rest flee form the extreme heat. All 10 fit in the stun cage, surprisingly, but the engineers refuse to give up one of their last spare insulated suits yet.
The Southern gate is now BLACKENED BUT CLEAN.

Zeno charges back to the gate, but stops before he's stampeded to death by the things.
George Prepares.

Zeno Combined Roll: 36
-1 for being totally outnumbered

George Combined Roll: 14
-1 for being totally outnumbered

Zeno gets kill after kill after kill with his new energy Greatbow from an alternate reality, but he can only shoot so much before tiring. George manages to kill the last few with a fancy looking series of strikes from both swords though, so they're good.

Twil looks at his sniper rifle and wishes it was part machine gun. So many doomies!
Kenwashi breathes in, out, and prepares to hopefully not die.

Twil Combined Roll: 7 :o
+2 for high elevation
-1 for being totally outnumbered

Kenwashi Combined Roll: 1 (two ones, minus 1 from the outnumbered minus below) :o :o :o :o
-1 for being totally outnumbered

Railgun Roll: 7 (1d20)
+2 Swarm attack bonus
+1 plugged in power bonus

Explosives Roll: 5 (1d20)

Twil manages a few shots, but is heavily hampered by his sniper rifle's lack of full auto. The mining explosives do manage to kill a good chunk of them, but theres still more than twenty of them, and Kenwashi is trampled to death before he can reach the railgun. Trader's guards fry them all with the flamethrower to protect their ship, then giggle with glee thinking of how much profit they'll get from 20 tiny dead aliens no one else has seen before.
Kenwashi Nokami, Swordsman, has been struck down.

there are now 60 TINY ALIENS, 5 SMALL, 25 MEDIUM ALIENS and 50 HUEG CHUNKS dead and ready to trade. Griph has 20 TINY, 0 SMALL, and 3 MEDIUM ALIENS, and some of the HUEG CHUNKS in his pile. Trader is hiding in his ship while his assistants pack up the stuff. The miners hear ominous noises from the other side of the caved-in mine entrance. 1 stays near there while the others retreat and begin to think of ways to trap the minecart tunnel without impairing the cart tracks.

Health:
Griph: OK!
Zeno: OK!
George: OK!
Twil: OK!
Kenwashi: DEAD!

RP/Non-RP time go! (death list in OP updated) Also, since We're using normal dice now, 1 is now insta-death instead of zero.
