So...

Carefully pry what you can see out of the mine with minimal vibration while floating on hoverboards (barely any Materials gained, but safe)
Restart Mining, get Material. (Steady Material flow again, but cause the burrowers to start appearing)
Ignore Mine. (Explain in post, please)

No they aren't.
Except when they're thrown in enemies.
Yes theres another railgun, but you guys haven't really needed the first one too very much.

"Uh, sure? What do you need a insulated suit for, though...?""

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Objection: BOSS BATTLE.
Well, I intended to make three railguns, one for each gate, regardless.

Caltrops are little pointy tetrahedron pointy things with four spikes arranged so that one edge always faces up. They hurt when you step on them. Also used as road spikes sometimes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caltrop
Basically a pointy thing you put on the ground that stabs peoples feet, making them slower.
I propose we scatter them away from the entrances, but close enough to not hit doomy doom monsters that aren't coming for us

EDIT: Ninja'd

Dogs. They're so evil, yet impossible to hate.
