So...

Carefully pry what you can see out of the mine with minimal vibration while floating on hoverboards (barely any Materials gained, but safe)
Restart Mining, get Material. (Steady Material flow again, but cause the burrowers to start appearing)
Ignore Mine. (Explain in post, please)

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

That was a plot device answer, not a plot device question.

It is the dome! Huzzah!

Forsooth, what a horrible siege! Legions upon legions upon legions of scouts, Somewhat less amounts of Mooks, and at least 2 artillerybeasts! How has the dome not shattered? You five stop a mile away from the nearest monsters, needing a plan for this.

(I'll give you guys access to all the weapons you had so far, not just the ones you're currently holding)

You should crash the trade-ship into them...

The Couch guns, they are fired!
(16)
Much smushing! But little effect when there are so many legions.

Fire again. Let's not be afraid to use chairs too just because it's called a couch gun this time.

The Second Salvo is fired, this time using the chair add-on as well!
(13+20!)
The chairs splinter on impact and cause MASSIVE DAMAGE! a couple legions are either wiped out or incapacitated by the splinter storm!

Once more, with gusto. If that's too boring, then Griph will toss the couches himself if need be.

The Third salvo is fired!
(2+10)
It smacks into the previous couch salvos and does nothing of any note. The chairs miss entirely.
The COUCH GUNS are now out of upholstery, and will not fire skeletal couches very well.
