The floor starts melting from it. apparently the laserly humming meant it was actually laser-like. The scouts try to attack the laser and, obviously, are burnificated.

(You guys are safe, its just the organic-ish floor in the hole room thats melting.)

Nodachi starts attacking them, but they tumble down into the floor below as it falls apart. he might want to move back with the others before all of it gives, the rockets were made to keep him floating, not flying.
