So...

Carefully pry what you can see out of the mine with minimal vibration while floating on hoverboards (barely any Materials gained, but safe)
Restart Mining, get Material. (Steady Material flow again, but cause the burrowers to start appearing)
Ignore Mine. (Explain in post, please)

I have something the Critcouch (hopefully) doesn't: a consciousness. Once i'm up there, i'm going to go all out on their ship (preserving the ship-scale couch gun if at all possible.
They're in the station. You've got quite the flight ahead of you, Armor Guy.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

If we're gonna get him into space we're gonna need to like build a giant railgun on the roof of the dome or a giant cannon with a hollow bullet or something like that.

Gravity. And hopefully, some sort of parachute the scientists give me, even if just to slow my fall a slight amount.

How will you keep from burning up in re-entry for that matter if you do jump uncontrolled steer yourself far away from the dome so it isn't reduced to a crater

Now that I think of it, I will probably commandeer their ship, and if I can't do that, I will use an escape pod.

Though with the escape pod there is the possibility that you will be too heavy once gravity starts back up

A monster appears, grabs the box, and vanishes. Another box is thrown out, and it again vanishes the box away. The monsters seem to have found a pack of Teleporting Sneevils.

(You can blame Golden Sun Dark Dawn for the lack of updates if you want.)

You four decide to hide in a large box, and have the smith (and the miners, and the apprentices) throw you outside. Nodachi is given a much bigger box and told to put himself in it once out there. Your weapons are kept with you as always.

You feel a shift, a sensation of wanting to puke, and then stillness again. The is a feeling of foreboding from outside the boxes.

You can't attack the feeling, the box isn't open!
The box's darkness is hurt! the box's darkness flees! it is now light inside Nodachi's box.
