You try to dive under the incoming meteor under full power, but it strikes the top on its way down, sending you spinning out of control and crashing bottom-first into a mountain. You survive, but theres no longer any working location equipment in the ruined pod. The dome is not visible, and its nighttime.

You pull out whatever weapon you had previously and manage to cobble together a compass. There is various noises coming from the nearby areas, and since its a moonless night, one may or may not be a grue.

I chop a branch off a nearby tree use bits of the pod to light a torch to scare away the grue and then run as fast as I can in the direction of the dome

Torch in other hand, you go in the way you think is towards the dome.

"Ow...wha? I'm alive? Awesome. Feel like I was hit with that armorbeast, though. Ugh." Gustave says as he pushes the pod's crumpled door open. He then pukes, and stumbles into the dome, falling asleep in the med. ward.

As the dawn of the forth day of the third week of doomy siege rises, Furtaka is tackled by a friendly puppy who has somehow managed to escape the flaming/smashing/slicing and/or other fates of whatever village he (or is it a she?) fled. Aww.

hoorayh for Puppy! keep him with me but keep a close eye on him incase there is something bad about it

You hear crumpling and screeching noises from behind you, and guess that there is scavengers nearby. or a metallivore. Hopefully the first, they'd have a map. But for now, you erect a flaming barrier around your impromptu lean-to, and rest with puppy.

Gustave probably would have died if he still used the shotgun afflicted by Teh Suckage. As it stands, not being vaporized after a glowing couch crithit by Space Pirates counts as a victory. He shall celebrate by continuing to sleep in the Medical Ward, reminiscing of a time when his life had not been filled with couches.

I think we need an air defense/boss killer railgun. Preferably on wheels so we can roll it around to each exit for bosses or out of the dome for enemies.
