The drone comes back, with about 35 building materials.

The guard makes a base under the ground, finding an unknown material, some gold and some more coal.

You get 200 from the dropper.

You make 10 gunpowder weapons into Macro-Power Ultrasonic Guns. This means it fires noises that are incredibly painful and also uses little power.

It appears to be amazingly chaotic. It defies anything resembling physics. A secondary school dropout could guess something was horribly wrong with the mineral. It is literally tearing itself apart, but not. It could be used as a extremely chaotic but damn good power source.

The guard manages to make two cots and four containers. He then reinforces the walls by 2%. You also get about 29 building materials.

techie:name the mineral after yourself, then try to harness a SMALL (very, very, non lethal in any way amount) of the mineral in some way.

guard: scout the black tribe, bring the  macro guns. only use if provoked.

drone:be techie's guinea pig lab assistant

us: take inventory of everything we have (list our items, food, ect.)

how long till the arrival of food?

Valkium, the greatest of all minerals.

200 building material,

two tools,

37 units of food.

12 weapons, discounting the useless primitive ones.

The supply drop is arriving tomorrow.

Valk takes out a small bit of material from the sample you got. However, he accidentally ingested a nanomicrogram of the stuff, and now he it seems that he is tripping.

"Yes yes, I agree, Valk is a very good name WHAT THE HELL IS CRAWLING ALL OVER ME MAKE IT STOPPPPP Yes, YES! It's the best name, IT'S CRAWLING ALL OVER MEEEEEE!" He says, at a million words per second.

The guard comes back, noting that the blacks seem to have calmed down, and even waved at him. It seems that they get riled up, and get riled down often.

okay.

>techie: forget to turn the mineral into a power source. try to turn it into a drug, in which you can sell on the black market.
>guard: build another drone
>drone: help build another drone
>us: take a small portion of the drug-mineral to the black tribe. see what their reactions are to it. bring a concealed weapon, just in case  DO NOT INGEST

Well I am not going to be the one to give the order that loses us our shirt...

Out of curiosity, have we established a gender yet? I vote male guard, female captain, and drone techie.

WHAAAAAT! you cant take our captains balls! He is The Captain! although I have to say there have been several female captains that have been very good in sci-fi over the last ten or so years, but but, Alien princesses!

so my vote is Male captain, female techie, and herm or andro guard.

Seconded(preferably herm guard due to their obvious ability to go crazy over Valkium).

That happened without much effort, though. Germs from the climate of Europe hitchhiked on the ships to the Americas. Bam, wave of new diseases the Americans aren't resistant or immune to. Millions perish.
