John see's if Xavier or NPC Medic 6 needs a ride out of there, either way he goes to help the South West Entrance, but always staying away from those 'lings.

"Somebody has to stay out here, go ahead without me."  Says the Marine.  Gotta love a guy devoted to his work like that.

[(74+40+6)/3=40+25=65 damage x 2 Zerglings hit= 130 total damage]  You launch a Grenade and blow up 2 of the zerglings.  Thankfully it landed in such a way the Marines who were standing near-by weren't damaged.

Open fire on zerglings. Put that bonus accuracy to good use.

Retreat with surviving squadmates if things turn ugly.


[(14+92+6)/3=38+10+5(Pistol bonus)=53 damage]  Getting out your pistol, you score a perfect shot on one of the zerglings shutting it down in mid attack, leaving it behind nearly completely intact.  Damn, you're good.

[(62+76+42)/3=60+25=85x2(zerglings hit in grenade explosion)=170 total damage]  Launching a grenade from the grenade launcher you manage to blow up a couple more of the zerglings without damaging any of the Marines in the vicinity.

"SHIT MAN! That was close, what the hell, why is it only me and you down here?"

Stick with the NPC Marine at the SE entrance, keeping it covered for as long as possible. Radio for backup. Couple more marines, have them bring an APC.

((We should station the APC's at points the siege tanks cannot reach. At the moment, it seems like the SE entrance is the weakest point.))

"We're requesting immediate reinforcement, we need men over her to help us hold it down, is anybody available."  As the responses come in, you realize your worst nightmare has come true.  Everybody is too busy holding the rest of the points to help you hold yours.  You're on your own, alone, with just one marine to help you.

Fire at the Hydras in the southwest.

[(99+67+72)/3=80+70=150-20=130 damage x 4 hydralisks hit = 520 total damage]  Swiveling your cannon around you manage to hit all four of the hydralisks with a mighty blast tearing the robotics of each apart.  There is nothing in the world quite like seeing your enemies die in a blast of power.

save siege tank instead

[(19+44+65)/3=43+40=83 damage]  With a well placed shot you destroy one of the robolings approaching the siege tank, the other is still on the loose however.

"This simulation is very realisitic! That firebat was a dummy, right?"

Amelie goes "chakka chakka chakka" with her guns.

[(64+19+99)/3=61+15=76 damage]  Unleashing as much fury as her C-14 allows her, Amelie down one zergling and damages another.

NPC Actions
North-West
7 Zerglings killed, bunker at 95%

North-East
3 Zerglings killed by Siege Tank, 10 by Combined Bunker forces, bunker remains at 95%

South-West
5 Zerglings are killed as well as all the robolisks.  NPC Marine 5 is charged by the remaining robolings, and receives a nasty looking cut above his eye as he's trampled.

South-East
The one marine manages to kill the remaining Zergling before it reaches the Siege Tank.  The Driver thanks him.  It looks like this entrance is all clear for the moment, nothing on the horizon.

Attempt to call for reinforcements again, request they bring in an APC to help set up a barricade. Get ready with the marine for the next assault.

Emily ride to the closest APC and jump inside. As soon a Phantom is inside as well, she'll ride to the Northwestern Entrance. Over as many zergling as possible.

((We really need more people to drive. It's stupid to have that much firepower lying idle. V-Norrec, does an APC pack more punch than a vulture? If yes, I'm gonna change my vehicle.))

No, but you can carry marines in side of it and it's pretty damn hard to damage with 60 defense as well as being able to transport fully armored marines and having a Gauss Cannon with a +20 attack rating.  Unfortunately, as a driver, all you can do is run over stuff though.

((You could change the amount of possible damage, instead of giving a bonus. For example, instead of rolling 3d100, averaging them, and adding 70 for a seige tank attack, you could roll 1d170. That's probably inferior to the current system, but it's all I can think of.))
