Well, all considered I didn't say "Point Grenade Launcher At Self And Shoot."
And I am pretty sure it has a length primer.
I hope.

((...There goes my plans...uhh, time to think up something new.))

Head to the front line, staying behind a barricade. Keep everyone healed, and fall back if needed.

(...Derp)

Which front line, there are more or less 4 possible front lines.

" Dammit I forgot to get in my armor again." aaron Climbs into his armor and once in checks for any damages.

You get in you armor, but unfortunately it takes a little longer than average since you were never good at the armor drills.

((Finished equipping armor at 28:00))

John, being bored, does a quick speed test of the vulture around the mesa. He also checks if he can do some stunts, bu the most extreme he's gonna try right now is shooting the grenade launcher in front of him over a raised area and using the explosion to propel him.

John, being easily distracted and annoyed by waits of any longer than two seconds, decides to test out the vulture's maximum speed.  After hitting 230 miles an hour he realizes there all walls all around the area, and this is probably one of the stupidest things he has ever done.  He lives to tell the tale though as he arrives back in front of the supply depot and manages a full stop without hurling himself off the hover bike.  He thinks about launching Grenades at a wall so they bounce back and hit himself and boost his speed, but he realizes that's the dumbest thing he ever thought of, ever. . . EVAR!

John begins waiting near the supply depot, wondering if he could prop up his C14 on the Grenade Launcher to act like a hard to aim mounted machine gun.

John doesn't know how to modify vehicles, so he instead day dreams about creating a giant walker robot with cannons for arms, and bigger cannons on it's shoulders.  Man, that would be awesome.

...
I can't even let the gun sit on top of it? Bah. John sits inside of the supply depot, just analyzing the general area and remembering where the bots come out from, and to pass the time waiting for someone to call him in makes a small picture of a zergling with some grease and maybe a piece of scrap metal.

So John is daydreaming about the goliath? Or better yet, Thor?

((What is it going to balance on?  It'd take a bit of planning and some modification to create some kind of holster for your weapon in the front of a vulture.  Personally I'd rather just keep it on my person.  Also, I'm pretty sure you can't do all of those actions in 30 seconds.  And yes, he's day dreaming about a Thor, because I thought it'd be cool :P))

((All considered John wouldn't like the Thor, he'd love the Viking. And he'd sure as hell love the Wraith, and the Hellion, and Nova, and various female Ghosts, and Protoss Scouts, and Warp Gates, and Old Spice Man Scented Body Wash, and...))

((It would be love at first sight. I'll show you what he would do if he saw one.))
John collapses on his knees in front of it, weeping tears of joy.
"It's, it's beautiful! The craftsmanship, the yellowness, the photon cannons! All beautiful! If I was protoss, this thing would be my brother!"

To ask again: Is there a waiting list, and can I get on it?

Yep, well one of the best anyhow.  You put the tank in siege mode and sit back.  Now to wait for something to come into range

I'm reserving one of the next two for commands for the NPC's, sorry other people but with no NPC support you'll probably get squished.
