((Hey, I didn't heard anything abou defecting, it is just that Emily want a vehicle to train up to become a combat driver. A truck is... sub-par to do that. Also, V-Norrec, I don't know if it's fit with Resoc, but the way I see it, Emily is loyal to the Dominion Military first and to the Dominion next. Presently, she sees the act of beating up that shopkeeper as a way to punish him for opposing the Dominion (Shooting a Marines without reasons) So it fit with her loyalty. Those cops are probably corrupt and unable to serve the Dominion properly.))

Rent the Vulture and train evasions maneuver until nightfall. Then go into the weapons shop, ask to see some of the gear and once I have a rifle in my hands, shoot the shopkeepers in both kneecaps. (Check that the gun is loaded first). Tell him that the Marines looks for their own and that he should be glad to be alive. Then go back to the base and call an ambulance to take care of the shopkeeper.
