You find a shop selling all sorts of high-tech gizmos, most of them worthless for combat, but pretty cool.

If you want to know what a place has for sale, you're going to need to give me more time to actually write things.

You find a scrapyard.  Of course now that you've found it, how are you going to carry all the scrap you're going to need to effectively upgrade your armor... hmmmm.
