John gets up, walks out and hands his card to the Sarge, and then heads off to the barracks.

Handing your card to the Sergeant he tells you to head to the Parade Grounds first thing in the morning.

Handing the card over, he looks at you as says "Report to room 2 on the third floor first thing tomorrow morning."

You hand the card to the Sergeant and then instinctively try to find your lighter only to realize they've taken it away from you for the duration of boot camp.  The Sergeant tells you that you are reporting to the Parade Grounds first thing in the morning.

I used to work in demolitions and freight hauling

I attended formal school up till the high school level. While in prison, I gained a minor degree in Zerg Morphology as part as my Resoc training.

5)  You see a turtle on its back in the desert its belly basting in the sun, but you don’t turn it over, why are you not doing anything to help turn the turtle over?
The turtle is a waste of my time and Dominion resources to save.

Amelie seems a bit confused as to what to do. It's been awhile since had free time...
Eventually, she joins the group and chats...

"So, what did you guys think about the turtle question? " She asks, genuinely intrigued.

What she wrote was not what she felt she should of wrote...her ideal answer being "pick apart the turtle and sell it's organs and bones for money"...but she felt such a compulsion to impress the morale officer...

To explore the universe in a productive manner. Additionally, certain things are very difficult to study outside military action.

Botanical and light zoological experience, primarily knowledge-oriented.

Personally tutored by two respected researchers.

Examining the turtle as it tries to right itself can be informative. Interfering with natural incidents is to be avoided. In this case, it's likely I would eventually flip it, however, as the incident was likely to be non-natural to begin with, and helpless turtles are not a major source of food for anything.

Backstory:  His childhood was rarely normal, as his father was a drunk and his mother was rarely home. To occupy his very ample spare time, he took up hitting cans with rocks. Through this, he became a fairly good shot, being able to sight and pick off a can from about seven meters with a stone. When he was entered into school he had a hard time, he was unable to concentrate on everything the teacher said and thusly struggled to keep regular grades. Among this, no one liked him much because he was always so quiet, for his father had more then once told his to shut up in a drunken craze. He had learned his lesson, and was always quiet from there on out.  Now he is nineteen and just finishing school, he decides to take up a military career where maybe he wouldn't have to put up with his parents and teachers. He feels he has finally found somewhere he could fit in.

Name: Nathaniel Pith
Gender:  Male
Backstory:  Nathaniel wasnt to bright of a chap, not to strong either. But tall, taller then most but skinnier then most also. His long reach kept him out of much trouble living in the streets of Los Andares. Sadly the zerg didn't care much for how long your arm was in a fight and only survived is first and only encounter with the infernal things because a unit of Confederate marines were a few feet away. He did however take a volley of Hydra spines which inadvertently saved his life while nearly killing him, as he was moved to a makeshift medical barge that bugged out with the rest of the confederate fleet. He still keeps the spines in his jacket pocket to remind himself of what almost happened, as if the massive scar on his right cheek wasn't enough.
