Shoot at the turrets!

(Also, nothing tell us that they would reset. It'd be pretty stupid for them to reset as soon as ennemies move back a few meters.)

They were proximity activated, get out of the proximity and you're good to go.

Well, if I was coding the software for proximity activated turrets, I would let them activated even if someone was moving away.
There is no point in desactivating them since the target know of the turrets' existence already.

I would guess there are range/collateral issues.

THE THREAT OF THE TURRETS HAS ENDED!  They were gloriously over-killed and still nobody thinks it may have been a bad idea risking life and limb when you could have retreated to safety to try again.  Xavier decided to just heal Nicholas this turn, as per John's suggestion.

Emily vs. Inferno Turret:  ([8]+2)=10 damage
John vs. Inferno Turret:  ([5]+2)=7 damage
Nicholas vs. Gatling Turret:  ([5]+2)=7 damage

Xavier:  55/55 health
John:  36/50 health
Nicholas:  50/50 health +20 Health
Emily:  46/50 health

Inferno Turret:  *dead*
Gatling Turret:  *dead*

You progress further down the hallway when you come to a sign that says Chemical Weapon Testing  Hmmm, the schematics you were sent to get might be located here, but undoubtedly it could be dangerous to go further down this path.  Now that you think about it, you did kind of blow up your way out of here too.  Maybe there is a secondary exit somewhere, or something that can be used to drill a hole out of this place.  Oh well that's for another time, there is a door to your left, and a door further down to the right.  The door on the right has a window on it and you can tell it's a staircase leading down, the door on the left has no identifying marks or locking mechanism, but it has no window on it so you're not sure what is inside.

Trying to pry the robots weapon out of it's hand is harder than it looks.  Eventually Roger manages to rip it's whole arm off.... oops.  Trying again with the bullet riddled robot is even harder, though this time Deb broke the arm even further, some how releasing all the compressed fluids that made movements within the arm possible and thus making it even less likely to retrieve the robots weapons.  You still decide to drag them with you onto the elevator where you begin riding it down.  It's pretty slow, so you have some time to prepare for whatever might be down there.

Might as well drag the Gatling Barrel around as a makeshift melee weapon.

"Note to self: buy a tool belt that will fit power armor" Roger grumbled as he looked at his 'work'. After looking over the combat robot, he began thinking over what he could do with the parts. "Well, if I can't get these weapons separated from the arms, I think we might be able use the robot's firing hardware to jury rig a remote turret. Probably have to make some sort of remote"

Attempt to salvage weapon. If failed, begin removing the intact robot's hardware and transceiver.

Heal John to full health. Attempt to salvage anything useful from destroyed turrets.
