Walked into a labyrinth, minotaur steps out, breaks my arms and shatters every bone in my upper body. It gets molested from behind by companions and dies, I crawl to within a few tiles of the exit before I horrifingly suffocate.
Nope, definitively undignified.

OH HELL YEAH!
I've probably lasted for 200 days or so with this guy. Throwing bolts. No mods ('xept fort mode and exotics) so YEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH.

he was 156.
dwarf.
super strength, super speed, shit everywhere else.

I started at year 125, could be that mah dude was born before 0. dunno.
embarking in fort mode.

Anyone ever been tackled into a river by boogeymen? I learned that my allies were already beaten to death so I naturally run the heck outta there. Cornered near a river and about eight boogeymen. Glad I didn't drown alone...

my most recent death was i chopped off the legs and arms of a titan. then i proceeded to t bag him by standing and sitting. i forgot he had teeth. Q.Q

Ok, if you want wolves, you got them!  I had an adventurer that I was training up blocking.  I had about 4 wolves attacking me while I laid down.  Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention and became over-exerted.  It was only a matter of time before they chewed me to pieces.

On another adventure, I was wandering through a dark fortress area and was ambushed by goblins.  During the fight, I was in extreme pain.  I was eventually knocked into a river with about 3/7 deep water.  At least the goblins didn't kill me.  Then I go searching around for a way out to find one direction a cliff up.  I head the other direction only to find a 3 level drop.  Since it was the only way I could go, I jumped off and smashed in my head.

I keep losing companions to camels, resulting in me being lethally tenderized by foul creatures in the dark of night. What is it with allies and camels? Nevermind that there's a gang of bloodthirsty macemen or a hungry hydra, those humped fuckers take priority every time.

Also got my first "encased in ice" death recently. I thought I was in good shape after killing a minnow, but Armok wasn't done screwing with me I guess.

Ouchies , my last nord was killed by a Demon master , it was the lord of the trollkins , i got spoted whilie i was tring to kill all his companions inside the room, fk i bled to deth

Honestly, the "abandon the leader to chase down and kill whatever the fuck you see" attitude is one of the must annoying things about companions. Especially since that ended up losing me my web-shooting giant squirrelman demon.

kobolds.

Was ambushed several times by a large group of Kobs in the same area, so me and the merry humans went looking for their hole. This took a bit long and in the dark it was hopeless, we decided to take a nap. six companions should be enough for a decent guard rotation. 
The one on duty probably fell asleep, for I think I awoke to several broken limbs and such. the end.
 
p.s. kobolds have eyes that glow at night. cool. :D

edit: I didn't think kobold lairs would be affected, as hydra lairs etc are not. 
They didn't do the same dimensional trick the dwarves and goblins did, did they?
