Have you people ever been so out numbered you know there is no way in hell your going to make it out alive, so you try to kill as many bastards as you can until you feel like you might win... THEN a damn archer shoots you in the lung so your thinking to yourself FUCK IT! IF I'M GOING TO DIE I'M GOING TO TAKE AS MANY OF YOU BASTARDS AS I CAN DOWN WITH ME! Then after many more kills you actually end up surviving until many quests later a deer kicks your head in.

I explored my almost-mountainhome fortress and killed two Forgotten Beasts, got thrown down the garbage chute when a draltha tore off half my leg. The fall broke everything on the left side of my body. I crawled into a warehouse and slept, which healed everything except the missing chunk of my leg and my ability to stand.

Then I dragged myself back up the stairs, killed another FB in the caverns, and got knocked down the garbage chute again by a rutherer. I was a few stories higher up that time so my body exploded into masterwork human blood mist on impact.

My leg keep getting broken/cut/tore apart

End up having a adventurer that is "On Ground" all the time

And my final battle was that I killed a commander with sword who killed me with crossbow straight into the heart

It still kinda awesome,too bad I can't find forgotten beast at all...

Thought I'd be cool and jump of a cliff and survive. I assume I dropped 3-5 z levels, to my death.

Oh, I got my revenge on you salty-whip-wielding-fiends.   My new adventurer seems nigh invincible.


The only thing that hurt him was a friend of the night, who kicked me in the ribs and bruised my lung.

I cut him in half to show my displeasure.

Forgotten beasts are all underground and pretty deep down at that. What you probably want to look for Titans, which as far as I know are the exact same as FB except they're located above ground, and humanoid demons.

My larger-than-average axeman got charged with killing a minotaur. I found the thing and we fought. Took off both of its arms, it gores me through the heart, and I die before I could finish him off. I've considered getting revenge, but it might be better just to make it live like that.

Killed in self defense by Ilan Sugaryswallowed the human miner. I had gone on a killing spree, crushing peoples' heads with another person's head. She had gravely wounded me with her pick, and I crawled to the door in an attempt to escape with my life. Of course that didn't exactly work out. I had killed over twenty in my rampage. I hope they make her a statue or something, she deserves it.

My heroic peasant companion, slayer of many warriors, decided to murder horses as dawn broke, he runs down, and when I get to him he had slain his first horse and was bumrushing the next, this one puts up more of a fight, breaking some of his bones and finally caving inn his skull. Seeing my heroic companion so dishonourably beaten I walk up to vorpal lash the horse to shreds with my legendary+ hero, when suddenly the horse (that have been badly hurt by the peasant) increases it's horsepower by over 9000! kicks my arm and then my head; instantly slaying me. I never had a chance to react.
