Shopkeepers?

Just getting back into DF, I thought I'd try my hand at adventuring more for the first time ever...

So, I just beat up a groundhog  and butchered it and walked back to town to sell stuff... and can't find a shop!

I have crossed the human country back and forth hitting the capital, villages, Hamlets, castles... the works... I can find NO ONE to sell stuff to.

What am I missing? How do I find a shop? I hope in future versions in teh game you will be able to ask towns folk where the nearest store is :(

The shops show up as yellow squares in the map. Not the white ones. You might have to do a bit of exploring.

I assume you're running .18 They have signs outside

Ah thanks.. I had to switch to a different tileset.. in Mayday, I can see which town (only one in the entire human 'country' has shops) I had to travel too. Thanks much :)
