With the convenience of it being brewed, and drunk, on the battle feild!

But we know elves aren't drunk on the battle field.  Dwarves are!

I think he meant drunk as a verb, not a adjective.

Well I mean brewed is most oftern used as a verb (Unless your talking about plump helmet men) so I thought that would imply we are drinking, not we are drunk, despite what the reality of the situation may be.

It was just a play on words.  Too dry?

It's sort of hard to drink dried alcohol.

Doesn't it just evaporate, anyway? How can you have a 'dry' beverage?

It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

I've never fully understood that phrase either. Does it mean not watered down?

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

From what I can tell it's a description of the taste. So a beer can be dry or not-dry or whatever.

Dry means it has very little sweetness.  Dry booze does tend to make the mouth feel dryer that something with some sweetness to it.

Trouserman beat me to it. Dry is basically bitter. So you can get dry beer, wine and other alcoholic drinks. Beer in itself is rather dry for my taste, so instead I drink cider. Pear cider is perticualy nice, and great for special events, but for your normal pub crawl, apple cider is best. Stronger then beer though, so if your a light drinker be careful and don't try and match your freinds drink for drink.

I'm a very light drinker, and will normaly stop after two or three.

First we need dwarf cavalry.

Then we can have dwarven bear cavalry.

And ultimately dwarven ostrich cavalry!

Dwarven beer cavalry! It's just like a normal dwarven army, but with mounts!
