Was thinkinof making some suggestions on the weapons but im not sure how tall these dwarfs are suppost to be.

In my mind i have the dwarves from DnD. They do everything that humans do in that settings, they just use smaller (but much wider in most cases) equipment and weapons.

Supposedly a dwarf would use a longsword 2 handed, longswords are about 4 feet long.

Not to mention the considerable reputed strength of dwarves, they could use a 2H sword as a bastard, and a bastard as a 1H sword, although VERY long.

I think the idea though is that it is very unwieldy to use a bladed weapon that long in relation to your body.

Yeah, come to think of it, a 5 foot long sword is not the greatest weapon to use in a tunnel.

Spears are okay because you can hold them anywhere along the length instead of just at the very back.

Ill give it some more thought then make a writup later.

But in DF dwarves are slightly weaker then humans aren't they?

I see a dwarf as around four feet tall...

And five feet wide.

FIVE feet wide?!?!? Thats about the same as a young rhino!

Dwarves are probably equal if not greater in strength to most humans. The reason they do less damage in general comes from being smaller i guess.

Short arms = less leverage which = less force applies.
