Do you have references at hand when trying to defend that men and women are exactly equal? I didn't even consider needing references until I was asked to provide them.

That was a sore misunderstanding which I should've addressed earlier. Nowhere did I specifically refer to scientific studies, until someone asked me to back my views up.

Could we try and keep it a bit more civil, The thread has kind of turned into "lets be dicks toward virex" Yeah, he's been acting a bit trollish, but some of the responses have been even worse.

I am tempted to reply, but I fear that'd derail the thread towards a dangerous point. I'm leaving the decision up to the rest of the posters.
Also, while the personal attacks are but a mild inconvenience I fear they may also lead to a thread lock. Even though I'm the subject and therefor biased, I would like to request that any personal grievances are send by PM as to not danger the thread. If ol' Virex is right than men are pretty much the goons and cronies of women. Depends on you're views whether that's good or bad.

I never said that, one can compensate for shortcomings by trying harder and it's statistics anyway. While I would be more inclined to take a women for mind-intensive jobs if I was hiring, I see no need to pass up a promising male candidate.
