Yeah, i won my first game a few days ago, think that they are raising the difficulty again, as it is though, it is a bit too easy.

Hmm yup the game was rather easy, i didnt do much in terms of fighting and we had, i think, at least 3 leavers, but the zombies got crushed simply because of the expanding needs of the kingdoms. My second game is going the same way so far. I don't honestly think i'll play this for long, there is not much challenge nor interest to it.

My first game was over by day 2, when my ents walloped the strongest nearby horde which decided to rush me as their first action and pinned down another right in the path of all my other forces, after which I was boxed in by other players hiring cheap independents to lock me up in my peninsula. Then 4 more days of slowmotion, multicolored Go which ended with everybody's ents stunlocking zombies away from towns while the rest ran around capturing stuff.

This may be the first game I've played where hobgoblins are awesome.

You know what's really awesome? Trolls. 100+ trolls. They can, for a low, low price, kill every other living thing within six hours. At least last time I played.

Oh wow, there's a thread on this. And I was just pondering on an opening post :)

So, any bay12 games? I'd love to join one. Because I'm not doing so well on my 2 ongoing games, mostly :)

Playing a new game it looks like the difficulty went up recently. Way up. While i am pretty much fine (as i assumed all my comrades would be), when i looked around the map today i saw this:
Spoiler: Big image (click to show/hide)

And it went from, well in 9 hours or so all undead next to me will be dead, pretty much same as last two games to: OH MY GOD, LOOK AT ALL THOSE ZOMBIE HORDES, and fun stuff like 200 undead ents.

I'm 5 days into a very hard game. This seems to be where dwarven fortification bonus really comes into its own:

EDIT: Enchanters seem to be awesome?

Anyone about to start a game?, I was thinking of signing up.

Edit: it seems to encourage dropping in on random games so I might try that.

Thread, arise!

I just discovered (or, relative to the rest of the forum, rediscovered) this little gem. And it's awesome. Is anybody still playing? Or, if not, interested to play? This is the one I'm in right now. Join up, dwarves!

I haven't played this in ages! Been looking for it on and off but "Medieval zombie card game" didn't get me any hits with my google-fu!
Thank you Dariush!
